(I) Product introduction The project mainly produces the automobile aluminum alloy die castings. According to statistics, the total global output of the aluminum die castings increases by more than 3% each year and of the total output of the aluminum die castings, 60%~70% of the aluminum die castings are used in the automobile making. In the countries of developed automobile industry, the automobile aluminum castings account for more than half of all kinds of aluminum castings. (II) Market analysis In accordance with national requirements, by 2020, the average fuel consumption of passenger vehicles produced by all automobile enterprises shall reduce from 6.9L to 5.0L per hundred kilometers. According to estimates, if the weight of complete automobile reduces by 10%, the fuel efficiency can increase by 6%-8%; if the automobile curb weight reduces by 100 kg, the fuel consumption per hundred kilometers can reduce by 0.3-0.6L. Under the general development trend of lightweight automobile in the future, the application of aluminum alloy die castings will usher in sharp increase. (III) Investment estimate The project will cover an area of 100mu with the scale of 50,000 tons/year of automobile aluminum alloy die castings and the total investment of 500 million yuan. After completion, the total output value will reach 1 billion and the profit and tax will reach about 50 million yuan. (IV) Construction advantage 1. Industry supporting advantage As the largest automobile production base of China, the automobile production capacity of Chongqing has reached 4 million. Qijiang has formed the complete vehicle enterprise industry cluster including China Dynamics Suitong New Energy Automobile, Zhanliang Automobile, etc. And the settled enterprises of automobile wheel hub can support the complete vehicle enterprises nearby in Chongqing and Qijiang. 2. Molten aluminum direct supply advantage The Zone has the largest electrolytic aluminum enterprise in Southwest China with present annual output of 800,000 tons and its downstream enterprises have realized an annual output of 200,000 tons of aluminum alloy ingot. The enterprises in the Zone can provide the project with double zero molten aluminum and molten aluminum alloy in the mode of molten aluminum direct supply. 3. Self-provided power plant advantage The Zone has a self-provided power plant of 2×330,000KW with the annual supply of 5.4 billion kilowatt-hour and the surplus electricity of 500 million kilowatt-hour, which can fully guarantee the production electricity consumption of enterprises. The electricity cost will be drastically reduced.
